You miss all of the shots you don't take

This felt like an appropriate title to a first post; taking the shot, trying something new, feeling like there's something good to put out there into the world and see what comes back to you. It's exciting!

A little about me:

People tell me that I'm too nice, literally story of my life. But I don't care. When I was younger I didn't like being in school and couldn't understand why kids treated each other like crap, it was isolating. But over the years it's helped me better understand others and create a level of tolerance towards (otherwise off-putting) behavior. I really think that's the best way to accept the world around us.

I grew up with parents who are designers; they have designed homes, offices, gates, furniture, moldings, interiors, exteriors, and even wineries. That's something huge to live up to, plus they did 8 years of school for it and were super apple polishers. Luckily, I inherited their eye for design, but unfortunately none of the patience required to be an architect, so I didn't ever consider doing anything similar, formally anyway. BUT my experience and exposure has given me a WIDE range of knowledge to use and disclose.

I had frizzy, curly, unruly hair growing up and spent years trying to control it. I was a late bloomer because my mom didn't have long hair herself and thus couldn't teach me how to deal. Over the years I've picked up so many different ways to control the volume and frizz and again, I'm happy to share that with anyone going through the same thing.

Fashion I love and it's a big thing for me. I don't understand why models have to be so tall to be a model but I'm not judging. If I could be a few inches taller (without heels) I would take it in a heartbeat.

I'm not perfect and I definitely won't ever claim to be, but I am a kind and warmhearted person with a young enthusiasm for life. Go ahead and ask me a question, get to know me a little bit!
